Justin is a leading marketing researcher, analyst and strategist, having guided thinking on many of Africa’s leading brands
Justin is a UCT Business Science graduate - and started his career with multi-national Unilever in FMCG brand management. He also worked as a strategic planner for FCB and for the brand consultancy Added Value - where he was part of the South African founding team. In the ten years he spent at Added Value, Justin served as Managing Director, a member of the global board and a specialist in innovation, portfolio planning and brand positioning across the African continent.
This experience positioned him well to become a partner in Dashboard - where he has been able to use technology, research, data and marketing skills to ground fast growing brands in consumer insight as the disruptive African telecoms environment has emerged. Dashboard Consulting is Justin’s newest venture and he hopes to use it to build forward thinking marketing intelligence programmes for growing businesses.

Sarah completed her BBusSc Hons Marketing from UCT in 2000. She has over 17 years’ experience in marketing research.
She cut her teeth at Research International in Cape Town in 2001, before joining an independent research agency GlobalEdge. In 2004, she was a founder member of the new Cape Town branch of Millward Brown, where she stayed and grew her understanding of research specifically in client service, project management and analysis over the next 9 years where she grew into her position as an Account Director. 2012 she branched out into consulting and freelance work with Vibrand research, followed by a short period of working for a start-up crowd sourced mobile research company called InstantAfrica. Sarah joined the Dashboard team in July 2014.
Sarah has research experience across a broad range of methodologies and categories and is competent in all stages of the research process from design to data analysis and presentation preparation.
Tare has a Business Science degree in Information Systems. He has been developing software and managing complex systems for 12 years.
He manages the technical aspects of many of our projects – ensuring that systems are set up to collect data effectively and efficiently.
He is also a software developer, focused on exploring and developing our technology tools.
Sharine holds a BBA in Business management and communication from UNISA with over 8 years’ experience in online market research and online community building.
She started her career at Consulta Research in Pretoria as a Panel community administrator and grew into the role as Community developer where she managed online communities for leading South African financial institutions as well as developing various proprietary panels both in-house and for external stakeholders.
In 2014 she joined the Dashboard Marketing Intelligence team in the capacity of Community and project manager. Here she developed communities in Zambia, Kenya and South Africa as well as programme and manage multi market online research projects.
Dashboard Consulting works in close collaboration with partner company Dashboard Intelligence Systems.
